Disclosure: Back to School Shopping at Northlake Mall is a sponsored post. Although I was compensated by Starwood Retail Partners with a payment, product, or something else of value in exchange for writing this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s that time of year again!

(Need a little help with your back to school shopping? Enter to win a $50 Northlake Mall gift card using the form at the bottom of the post.)

I don’t know about you, but I started the count down to back to school about two weeks after my kids last day of school. Summer usually drags on FOREVER. Although with our recent move, this summer seemed to fly by. Now everywhere you look you are reminded that school is starting soon (if it hasn’t already).

Back to school is somewhat of a conundrum for me. I both anticipate greatly and completely dread it. I work from home so having my five daughters underfoot 24/7 makes it really hard to get anything done. Work is so much more pleasant with the kids in school. No need to execute my patented evil death stare or the sharp snap of my fingers, desperately trying to alert my kids that I’m on a client call and to quiet down.

But on the flip-side, I despise the back to school prep. It is nearly always a logistical nightmare–five kids, three schools and now COLLEGE (my oldest leaves for her freshman year at UNCG on Thursday, yikes!!!), five hundred different teachers (slight exaggeration), all with their own specific requirements–not to mention expensive.

While no one can help me with my 6:00 am wake up call, Northlake Mall can help ease my pain when it comes to back to school shopping–a major stress for me! Ever taken 9, 11, 13, 16 and 17 YO girls shopping?!?!

Northlake mall has so much to offer–there really is something for everyone! Check out the directory of stores here and a list of current deals here.

Speaking of deals… you need to check out the Northlake Mall Oh, So Simple Rewards program. It’s a first-of-its-kind rewards program that offers easy to earn credit for purchases at any store in the mall. That’s right. Any store in the mall!

Northlake Mall Oh, So Simple Rewards program

Oh, So Simple Rewards KioskIt’s easy to connect your card and start earning cash back. Simply sign up for Oh, So Simple Rewards at the kiosk in the mall, or using your computer.

Because the Oh, So Simple Rewards program connects to your debit/credit card, there are no extra loyalty cards, coupons or vouchers to worry about. You are not limited to where you can shop to receive the reward, and earn money back for doing the shopping you would have done anyhow!

Obtaining rewards is easy; use your registered card to pay for purchases when you visit your favorite spots. Every time you spend $250 (from one purchase or several over time) you earn a $10 reward.

When you make a purchase with your registered card you receive a text message and/or email letting you know the amount has been applied to your account.

As you can tell, we had a lot of fun with back to school shopping at Northlake Mall. Everyone came home happy, even me! (I found an adorable purse on clearance at Forever 21.)

This is a great idea. I usually avoid shopping in store because there are more perks when shopping online. I love to option to earn points/perks when shopping in store.
