Although I was compensated by Food Lion with a payment, product, or something else of value in exchange for writing this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Over the years I’ve developed a love for cooking that has branched out from mac & cheese and chicken casserole made with frozen veggies and cream of whatever soup, into new and interesting items that I never would have eaten when I was little… spicy Indian, sushi, Chinese, Latin, Spanish, just to name a few. And my kids LOVE it (usually)! The past week or so it’s been very quiet on my blog because I’ve been frantically practicing for my appearance at the 2015 Food Lion Frugal Cook-off at the Southern Women’s Show in Charlotte (Charlotte Convention Center Hall A – …

By making purchase through these links, I receive a tiny commission which helps to fund my margarita habit (and maybe an occasional date night). Thank you. After many, many geocaching trips, I have made a science of packing the perfect “go bag” (a smallish, drawstring backpack) so that when we get the urge to go geocaching we can just run out the door.
