Tasty Tuesday – Red Wine Sangria

I never really liked sangria, or at least I thought I didn’t like Sangria. I’ve tried it several times and just didn’t have a taste for it. I always thought it was too bitter. Until this version, that is. A good friend made it for me and insisted I try it. I took a tiny sip and was very surprised that I liked it. It was delicious! Now it’s a favorite to serve at parties. This sangria is light and fruity and a little on the sweet side (you can cut back on the sugar if you like it less sweet).   I’m not a big drinker, but I do love me a margarita on the rocks now and then, and nothing beats an ice cold beer in the summer. I tend to like lighter, refreshing drinks.
