I work from home AND had five kids at home this past summer break… This combination does not mix well! To keep my sanity I had to discover all the fun places to take the kids.
The Discovery Place was a popular destination with my clan. There is so much to do and you can’t possibly see everything in one trip. We have the most fun running around playing with the exhibits.
While I love bringing my kids to the Discovery Place, I’ve always secretly wanted to spend time at The Discovery Place without my kids (without ANY kids) so that I could really have some fun and not compete for space with the little ones. But a dream come true would be a night of fun at the Discovery Place with no kids, AND adult beverages! Well, dream no more!
The 3rd Friday of every month The Discovery Place is hosting an unforgettable event just for adults (21 and older) called Science on the Rocks.
The next Science on the Rocks: Fright at the Museum will be on October 17th. It’s a Halloween themed night of monstrous mayhem that will be full of tricks AND treats!
Be sure to get there early as the event fills up quickly!
Wear your costume, grab a drink, explore the museum, hang out with friends and enjoy music after hours.

I'm trying to grasp what punkin chunkin is??
I think it’s like the giant beer pong, they use catapults to throw pumpkins!
This looks really cool, I will have to check out the next adult event they will have.
