One of my favorite go-to meals is pot roast. It’s one of the few things that everyone in my family will eat without complaint. It’s super simple to cook and is very hard to ruin with this Easy and Delicious Crock-Pot Chuck Roast recipe!

I use my slow cooker several times a week, even in the summer. It is a lifesaver! This particular Crock-Pot has a double-duty DuraCeramic cooking pot. I no longer need to use a separate pan to brown, sear, or saute ingredients before putting them into the slow cooker! Easy and Delicious
Crock-Pot Chuck Roast
- 4 pounds chuck roast
- 1 cup beef stock
- pepper to taste
- meat tenderizer (non-seasoned)
- 1 bag of baby carrots
- Season chuck roast with pepper and sprinkle with meat tenderizer.
- Brown chuck roast on all sides.
- Add meat, stock, and carrots to Crock-Pot.
- Cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours.
