One of my favorite go-to meals is pot roast. It’s one of the few things that everyone in my family will eat without complaint. It’s super simple to cook and is very hard to ruin with this Easy and Delicious Crock-Pot Chuck Roast recipe!
I’m all about the set it and forget it cooking style! That is why I love my Crock-Pot (6-Quart Countdown Slow Cooker with Stove top-Safe Cooking Pot) so much.
I use my slow cooker several times a week, even in the summer. It is a lifesaver! This particular Crock-Pot has a double-duty DuraCeramic cooking pot. I no longer need to use a separate pan to brown, sear, or saute ingredients before putting them into the slow cooker! The DuraCeramic cooking pot is safe to use on the stovetop, brown the meat and then simply place the pot into the slow cooker to finish cooking. (PS this is not a sponsored post, I just really love this slow cooker!)
This roast smells so good while it’s cooking, the girls always come downstairs to see what’s for dinner. And they get annoyed when it’s not quite ready when they are!
