Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Season ground beef with pepper, seasoned salt, and worcestershire sauce.
  3. In a frying pan, add minced garlic and saute for about 30 seconds. Add ground beef and cook until only a little pink is visible. Drain any grease.
  4. Roll out the biscuit dough to approximately 4″ in diameter. Make sure the edges are thinner than the middle (the middle should be about 1/4 of an inch thick) so you don’t end up with raw dough on the bottom of the burger bomb.
  5. Spread about 1/2 oz of goat cheese on each biscuit, add jalapenos to taste, 2 tablespoons chopped bacon* (approx half a piece) and about 2 oz of the ground beef. Wrap the biscuit around the beef–like a dumpling, and tightly seal the edges.
  6. Place biscuits on a parchment lined pan seam side down.
  7. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Place in the oven and bake 13-16 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

Notes

*My rotten hungry daughters cooked and ate the bacon I purchased for this recipe so I omitted it from the photos, but the bacon really gives it that little extra yum!

Feel free to use a flavored goat cheese.

You can substitute cream cheese for the goat cheese if you wish.
