My favorite salad is a Chick-fil-A Grilled Market Salad. It’s sooo good. The flavors are so yummy together and honestly I could eat one for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day and not get tired of it! But I always crave it on Sunday when Chick-fil-A is closed! So now I just make my own (if I can keep berries in the house, my kids can eat them by the pound faster than locusts!) It’s really tough to find something that my whole family will eat for breakfast. Here is the amazing Coleslaw recipe I modified for the Food Lion Cook off at the end of August. We didn’t have access to all the ingredients so we had to improvise… using cucumbers in the absence of cabbage and red wine vinegar in place of the apple cider vinegar. It still turned out great.  Wasn’t as colorful as the original recipe, but just as tasty. Things were so crazy at the @official_foodlion #FrugalCookOff I didn’t get to take or share many photos… @melrosefamily, @thebestcrowesnest and I had so much fun and cooked our hearts out, but sadly we lost by 1 point.
