My daughters always come home from school STARVING! (They almost never eat breakfast and school lunch is “gross”!) The first thing they do when they get home is grab a snack. They are like locusts, devouring everything in their sights. I used to keep fruit snacks, granola and cereal bars in the house for them to snack on but when I actually read the labels I saw that they are filled with sugar, preservatives, and other additives my girls definitely do not need.

#Yoplait Yogurt is a better for you snack rich in nutrients, vitamins & minerals, is high in protein & low in sugar, cholesterol & saturated fat. #CalciYUM So now am I extra careful about the snacks I keep on hand. I don’t want the girls eating junk food, especially a couple of hours before dinner. While we are always stocked up on apples, bananas, and other fruit, their go-to snack is usually yogurt. It is a staple in our house. Open our fridge on any given day and you will find three things: milk (because my husband and I can’t start our day without milk in our tea), at least one kind of goat cheese (because goat cheese!), and Yoplait yogurt.

#Yoplait Yogurt is a better for you snack rich in nutrients, vitamins & minerals, is high in protein & low in sugar, cholesterol & saturated fat. #CalciYUM I stock up on the convenient 8 packs at Walmart because they always have the best price (You wouldn’t believe how expensive it is to feed five hungry girls!) and well, I need to buy A LOT of yogurt (5 girls X 5 school days = 25 cups of yogurt a week, and that doesn’t count when they take it to school for lunch). The strawberry/mixed berry 8 pack is our house favorite, but the original vanilla/orange cream 8 pack is a close second.

I am happy the girls like yogurt so much. Yoplait yogurt is a better for you snack that is low in sugar, cholesterol, and saturated fat. It contains 6 grams of protein, plus 20% of the recommended daily allowance of calcium and vitamin D. Yoplait yogurt also contains vitamin A, magnesium, and potassium, among other vitamins and minerals.

Better for you Snacking with Yoplait Yogurt

#Yoplait Yogurt is a better for you snack rich in nutrients, vitamins & minerals, is high in protein & low in sugar, cholesterol & saturated fat. #CalciYUM Some things you many not know about Yoplait Yogurt.

Yoplait:

  • is made with milk from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones
  • does not contain high fructose corn syrup
  • is Gluten Free and certified Kosher Dairy
  • contains Live and Active Culture Yogurt
  • doesn’t use artificial flavors
  • Original yogurt’s sugar content was reduced by 25% in each serving

I know none of this means anything to my girls, they just love that Yoplait yogurt tastes good and helps keep the hunger away between lunch and dinner. I’m happy they are eating a better for you snack that contains extra protein for energy and 20% of the recommended daily allowance of calcium and vitamin D! It’s a win-win!

Walmart carries so many different varieties of Yoplait yogurt, you will definitely find one that you love too.

I have been eating more yogurt during this new year. Making healthy choices for myself and my family is very important. I love that Yoplait is made with whole milk without hormones and does not have any high fructose corn syrup.

I am a big fan of Yoplait yogurt actually. I love yogurt every morning for breakfast – it’s my go to meal no matter where I am traveling in the world. Yogurt is necessary. And it’s so good for you too.

My husband and I both eat a lot of yogurt. Yoplait is a favorite of ours for sure. I love the original and the whipped.

Yoplait is one of my favorite yogurts. They have a nice fresh taste and doesn’t leave an aftertaste which I can appreciate 🙂

I do like to stock up on Yoplait when it goes on sale. My youngest is gluten-free, he loves it and to him it’s like pudding.

My kids eat Yoplait yogurt with every meal. I buy 40 individual cups a month. I don’t complain because it’s healthy.

I am glad to know that your children turn to healthy snack options rather than the overly sweet junk food. We are currently training our grandchildren to like healthy food by consistently offering it to them. So far, they love mashed potatoes and squash, apple juice, and graham crackers.

My kids love yogurt! We’ve always got a ton in the fridge, but the little individual sizes are really a treat for my kids. Every time we go to the grocery store, they ask if they can pick some out!

I love freezing yoplait in the freezer and eating it as a dessert – I know if sounds strange but give it a go 🙂 Soo yummy!
